The Surefire 628 replaces the existing forend used on H&K MP5, 94 and 53 series. It is powered by two Surefire SF123 Lithium batteries. The standard P60 xenon gas-filled lamp assembly has 65 lumens of 60 minutes. The optional P61 lamp assembly has high output of 120 lumens for 20 minutes. The body has CNC machined aerospace-grade aluminum and impact resistant aluminum. The standard features include momentary pressure tape along with constant-on switch in F-models. It has an optional momentary pressure tape switch only. It has met the military and law enforcement standards for the past fifteen years.
